From research
to conversation
More than
a podcast
Dr. VR started with a conversation that was too good to remain inside a dissertation.
While researching VR for my Ph.D., I realized that the voices shaping immersive media deserved an audience beyond academia. In 2023, that idea became Dr. VR Podcast.
Today, Dr. VR is an award-winning bilingual media platform connecting creators, researchers, artists, developers, and industry leaders through long-form conversations, festival coverage, and analysis of virtual reality, XR, gaming, and emerging media.
The mission remains the same: document the people, ideas, and experiences shaping the future of immersive media.
Dr. VR is built around curiosity rather than hype.
The goal is not simply to talk about new technology, but to understand what it means, how it changes storytelling and experience, and who is pushing the medium forward.
From independent creators to major festivals, researchers to game developers, each conversation adds another piece to a growing portrait of immersive culture.
